- Board adopts written contracts with RCM and MCI.

Written contracts with Residential Communities Management (RCM) and Morbitzer Communities, Inc. (MCI) have been negotiated and adopted by the Co-op, subject to the formality of final approval by the Bank of America. The contracts were adopted by the Co-op at a Board of Directors meeting on December 22, 2008.
Some shareholders have urged the board to put the oral contracts with these firms into writing. And it was argued by some directors that putting these agreements into writing would aid future directors in understanding the details of the services to be provided and other contractual terms.
RCM and its president, Martyn Simpson, will provide a range of financial consultations and advice. Mr. Simpson was the primary architect of the financial plan that allowed the conversion of Tropical Isles to a resident owned community.
MCI and its principle, Tina Morbitzer, will provide a wide range of community management services including general mobile home park management, human resources management, accounting services and more.
